Santoku Knife | WAKOLI - DAMAS KNIFE | "Wakoli Mikata" Series
Our Wakoli damask knives are among the sharpest series of knives in the world. The Santoku knife from the series "Wakoli Mikata" is the favorite of many professional chefs, because it lies well in the hand, is perfectly balanced by the weight and can be used flexibly in the kitchen. A true all-rounder, whether for cutting meat, fish or vegetables, the Santoku knife is characterized by its flexible applications. This also explains the naming: Santoku namely stands for san = three and toku = virtues. The knife of the three virtues.
The blade, with a length of 17.00 cm, is made of 67 layers of original Japanese Damascus steel and reaches a hardness of 60+-2HRC due to the particularly hard steel core. These steel layers were wound several times, whereby the structure of different layers makes each knife from the Wakoli collection a unique product.
The handle is made of fine micarta and stands for timeless elegance. Wakoli Damascus knives combine traditional craftsmanship with modern Asian forging. The perfectly matched combination of different raw materials creates a unique product - extremely hard and therefore longer sharp. A knife that convinces!
